The Homestead Bakery (THB) has once again opened its retail doors, welcoming in this beautiful springtime awakening of nature, as well as THB’s fourth year of serving the local Central Illinois community with fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods. We have those many fine food products, to which you have become accustomed to finding here, well stocked on our shelves. And, as is customary, we still make plenty of shelf space for the countless lovely artifacts just perfect for decorating your home and work station. Something new this year!. . . be sure to look for The Homestead Seed display for you gardening enthusiasts. Our bakery doors opened up this summer of 2009 on Friday May 1st at 9:00am, and remain open daily Monday through Saturday until 3:00pm up to September 14th, and also from November 1st – December 23rd. Our Patch season bakery hours are 9:00am-6:00pm, seven days a week, only from September 15th – October 31st.
