Lori (Casey) and Kate (Pleasant) are marking the premiere of the 8th season of WEIU-TV’s Heartland Highwaysby including an engaging segment on The Homestead Seeds [THS] company located in Arthur Illinois. In 2009, The Great Pumpkin Patch carved out some very evocative retail space for THS to show off its heirloom, rare and common squash, gourd and pumpkin seed displays. Our THS Store is rustic and historic, and well-stocked with nearly 100 of these cucurbit seeds during each annual Patch season from Sept 15th through Oct 31st. Also, The Homestead Bakery has been quite generous in etching out a comfy corner in their retail showroom to accommodate off-Patch-season seed purchases to all of their walk-in shoppers.
