Located on the east side of The Great Pumpkin Patch parking lot, The Homestead Bakery was added to our farm in 2006. It features made-from-scratch Amish baked goods such as caramel iced cinnamon rolls, honey white and wheat breads, all your favorite types of cookies, and our classic angel food cakes; and that’s just a small portion of our mouth-watering bakery menu. Be sure to visit us each year during the beginning of June for our annual Open House for yummy free samples. You’ll also need to stop in here at the Bakery throughout each Great Pumpkin Patch season to enjoy our specialty pumpkin items like pumpkin cinnamon rolls, pumpkin bars, pumpkin bread and cream cheese frosted pumpkin cookies . . . remember, the only pumpkin we use here at The Homestead Bakery comes fresh out of this rich, Arthur Illinois, Great Pumpkin Patch soil here on our farm!
The Homestead Bakery is open May 1st - December 23rd, Monday through Saturday, 9:00am to 3:00pm; with even longer Great Pumpkin Patch season hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm, seven days a week, only from September 15th - Octobert 31st. The Bakery Winter/Spring hours, running from January through April, are scheduled for phone and e-mail orders only. WE ARE NOT OPEN FOR WALK-IN RETAIL DURING THE WINTER AND BEGINNING OF SPRING MONTHS. During these months, our weekly baking days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays — please plan ahead accordingly for your phone or web orders.
